Plot: Toby McClift is the son of a fanatical preacher who has spent his entire life being warned that "love" is a gateway to damnation. When Toby sneaks out to meet his girlfriend, Katie, at a cemetery, he witnesses a demonic creature kill his father and drag Katie into the darkness. Six years later, after being released from a mental institution where no one believed his "beast" story, Toby takes a job as a tutor at a secluded, gothic manor. He is shocked to find that his student, Laura, is the literal spitting image of his lost love. As he becomes obsessed with saving Laura from what he believes is a demonic possession by the house's matriarch, he realizes too late that he has been lured into a trap: Laura is actually an ancient witch who requires a pure, innocent soul to maintain her youth and immortality.
