Naeem Tahir is a writer, director, and film producer born in Karachi, Pakistan, and based in Dubai since 2003. He has built a distinguished career spanning writing, film and television production, and large-scale event management.
In 2007, Naeem Tahir began his professional journey as a writer and producer. His creative talent quickly gained recognition as he wrote numerous stage plays and television shows, establishing himself as a strong storyteller. The same year, he founded Redwood Production, a production company that went on to collaborate with prominent Bollywood and Pakistani artists, delivering compelling and culturally rich content.
Expanding his creative vision beyond film and television, Naeem launched the Dubai Fashion Awards in 2013, a prestigious platform created to support and promote emerging fashion designers. In 2016, he introduced "Made in Pakistan," an initiative dedicated to highlighting Pakistani products, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage on an international stage.
In 2017, Naeem organized the Khaleej Screen Awards in Dubai to honor and celebrate the achievements of Pakistani artists in the entertainment industry. Continuing his commitment to cultural harmony, he curated "Jashan-e-Dosti" in 2018, an event promoting peace and friendship between India and Pakistan. The event featured renowned artists including Alka Yagnik, Kajal Vashisht, Sahir Ali Bagga, and comedians Juri Ali Hassan and Irfan Malik.
In 2023, Naeem Tahir entered the digital space with the comedy-horror web series "Bhootni Ke," serving as the writer and collaborating with director Arjun Verma to create a distinctive and entertaining project. He continues to work as a producer on multiple web series, including "Ghar Aye Mere Par Desi," "ATM (All Time Money)," and "Happy Murder Day."
