With a foundation in theater and a strategic pivot into filmmaking in 2023, Heidi brings a unique blend of creative vision and human-centered leadership to every project. Her background in school social work informs her commitment to inclusive storytelling, trauma-informed collaboration, and creating emotionally safe spaces for artists.
Under her direction, Heidi Mikac Films has produced several original works-including Written in the Light, and her original mini-series, Wherein Lies Continue-both reflecting her passion for poetic realism, empowerment, and healing through art.
