Hadi Nikzad is an Iranian-born, Helsinki-based producer whose films bridge intimate storytelling and international reach. A graduate of Aalto University's MA in Film & TV Producing, Hadi founded Lumina Films to champion under-represented perspectives through collaborative production models.
Hadi produced Matalapaine, selected for Cannes La Cinéf 2025, and My Name Is Hope, winner at Tampere, Haugesund and Helsinki film festivals and a fixture at multiple different festivals. Drawing on a background in communications, Hadi runs transparent, well-structured productions where creative risk is supported by rigorous planning.
Fluent in English, Finnish, and Persian, Hadi develops projects across the Nordics and beyond, with a focus on character, place, and social texture.
