Ryan E. Nelson launched Angelcrest Productions in his hometown of
Manteca, California in 2002 as a way to promote Central California as a
hub for the film and music industries. Rather than allowing local up
and comers to move to Hollywood and disappear into the masses of
dreamers, he wanted to show that they could survive and thrive from
their hometowns. In 2004, he took over as co-Director of the Delta Film
Festival. After a successful year that saw such films as Camp Chaos'
"The War Effort" and Academy Award winner Tim Toyama as a guest
speaker, he stepped down to focus on his family. He continues to
support local film production efforts and is always looking for ways
help his community.
