Tomy is a rising Israeli film composer and sound designer with a strong background in music, having grown up surrounded by sound and creativity. A self-taught musician since childhood, he began experimenting early with samplers, DAWs, turntables, and instruments, releasing his first DIY beat tape at just 14.
Performing and releasing music under the name "Shiroto," Tomy has collaborated with prominent Israeli artists like Ravid Plotnik, Dana Berger, and Shaanan Streett. His music was featured in the Netflix series Hit & Run (Episode 7, 2021), and he has built a notable career as a DJ, playing across Israel and internationally, including a performance in Addis Ababa in 2019, and at the Jerusalem Film Festival in 2023.
While Completing his BFA degree in Sound and Screen Arts, Tomy focuses on scoring and sound design for short films, video art, and advertisements. He lives and works in Jerusalem.
