Darcie was born in Coffs Harbour, NSW and began her acting training at the age of 8 in screen and stage acting, participating in various courses and workshops over the following years with industry professionals in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sydney.
In December 2023, Darcie was accepted into a talent development program with The Australian Institute for Performing Arts where she travelled to Los Angeles and trained with LA based vocal coaches and casting directors. She is proficient with the US accent, having trained with US dialect coach Sandra Bell since 2022 who has described Darcie as "her ability to perform a scene with an American accent is almost flawless... She is a very talented and professional young actor". She has appeared in several musicals, TVC, short films and a feature film.
From the age of 6-11 she participated in the nippers program through Surf Life Saving NSW. In her spare time she enjoys the beach, playing the piano and is a NSW State Cross Country and Athletics competitor. Her playing age range is between 12-15.
