Sharon Wezelman has a BA in Theater from UCLA, where she was in both
the Acting Track and Directing Continuum, and an MFA in Acting from the
University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she studied traditional Asian
acting and Western acting. In addition, Sharon has an MA in Teaching
with an endorsement in high school drama from Southern Oregon
University.
She acted in a myriad of plays at UCLA and in Hawaii. Sharon has also
acted in short films, provided character voices for animated films, and
was a background actor on ABC's Lost (episode 3, season 5) in the
Oxford University in the winter scene.
Sharon enjoys technical theater and the technical side of film. She has
worked as a lighting designer, lighting technician, electrician,
costume designer, dresser, stage manager, assistant stage manager,
sound technician, scene technician, video projections operator, follow
spot operator, production assistant, and a grip/electric. Sharon worked
at La Jolla Playhouse off and on for nearly a year and a half doing
technical theater.
