A graduate of the prestigious Lodz Film School and an alumna of the Berlinale Talent Campus, Iza Kala is an actress who thrives on versatility. She has built a dynamic, cross-border career, skillfully navigating between dramatic and comedic roles in Germany and Poland.
She captivates German viewers with intense performances in acclaimed TV dramas like "Tatort", "Polizeiruf 110", "Soko Leipzig", and "Ein starkes Team", and has also made her mark in cinema. Her film "Die Unschuldigen" (The Innocents), in which she played the lead role, was notably screened at the 64th Berlinale in the Perspektive Deutsches Kino section.
In her home country of Poland, she has won the hearts of audiences with her perfect comedic timing in hit series like "Rodzinka.pl" and "Ranczo", among other popular productions. Yet, it is on the stage where her artistry truly shines. Her award-winning one-woman shows, "Kredyt zaufania" (Credit of Trust) and "Poczatek konca" (The Beginning of the End), demonstrate her profound depth as a performer.
When not performing, Iza loves the outdoors. She is an all-weather jogger, a mountain enthusiast, and a thrill-seeker who has even tried skydiving.
