Rita Das is a self-made woman who loves to narrate her own original stories. Passionate about storytelling, she especially loves to write army stories, drawing inspiration from true events. At the same time, she is versatile and can narrate across all genres, always bringing authenticity and depth to her work.She resides in Mumbai but hails from Patna, Bihar. She is the daughter of Retd. Col. C.M.P. Sinha, a proud officer of the Bihar Regiment who served in the 1965 and 1971 wars against Pakistan, and Mrs. Meera Sinha, a retired teacher.
Rita Das is married to Ashis Das, a banker, and together they have two wonderful sons, Aditya Das and Raghav Das, both of whom are working in the media industry.
