I am the Director and cinematographer of Shades of Survival, a powerful, beautiful film which shares the experiences of Black women with breast cancer. It is filmed across three continents and is now with Global Distributors, Espresso Media, and premiering in film festivals in the UK and Nigeria in Oct-Nov 2025. It is a passionate rallying call for health equity and it features the most diverse ensemble of Black women's voices and stories ever to be presented in one film.
Through my Production Company, Creative Rhino, I have three other films in development. The first is Black on the Catwalk - a female-led 'battle against the odds' drama: think 'Bend it like Beckham' meets 'Pursuit of Happiness' with lashings of gorgeous African couture fashion. "In Diaspora" - is a mini series bringing to life the talent, resilience and hard graft of many African immigrants. "Water" is a Feature-length documentary, highlighting what water means to human beings (death or decoration? Sport or survival?) Think gorgeous footage and powerful human stories. That's a bit my MO.
I am a proficient creative director, with over 20 years' experience delivering creative media projects and complex live productions in the United States, Europe and Africa. I have a particular passion for telling powerful, human stories of global significance. In addition to my own films, I work as a Director or DOP for others' creative projects and can provide post-production services through Creative Rhino's fully equipped post-production studio.
Born and brought up in Nigeria, I have an extensive knowledge of Africa, having worked and traveled to countries like Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Malawi and South Africa for TV production and broadcast studio setups. I have worked in the capacity of director, producer and technical director for the African Independent Television (AIT), Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), MaxTV (Ghana), the yearly Experience concert (Live audience of 400,00; Lagos, Nigeria), and the 2022 European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBDR) in Marrakesh, in collaboration with the Moroccan government, among many other projects. I am a trained photographer, visual effects designer, motion graphics animator, 3D Animator, colorist and graphic designer.
