Christian James Nguyen is a Japanese-Vietnamese-American author, photographer, and filmmaker. He is known for his photo-narrative books, which blend abstract photography, narrative storytelling, poetry, and experimental visual elements, and his films, which feature multiple tonal shifts.
On the internet as early as five years old, Nguyen found himself accustomed to the rampant culture shift at a young age. With YouTube just underway, he discovered a plethora of independent creators, films, and shows that sparked his desire to create stories in a multitude of mediums.
Over the years on various content creation platforms, Nguyen would find short-lived successes under several online monikers; in 2023, Nguyen would settle on the moniker "croissantwynnfilm" before debuting his post-college-dropout book "Examinations," a hybrid between abstract photography and poetry sequenced to tell a story. In 2025, he debuted his genre-blender short film "A Heist Away From Home."
