Chris Hanel is an independent filmmaker and effects artist noted for
his work in fan films and Internet video.
In 2000, Chris set out with Stephen Phelan to write and direct "The
Formula", a self-referential fan film about a group of friends
attempting to make a fan film themselves. The film was a hit on the
convention circuit and enabled Chris to attend visual effects school,
before transplanting to Los Angeles and joining filmmakers Trey Stokes
and Amy Earhart on the award-winning Pink Five parody series.
Chris has since returned to his first love of video games and works as
a game designer.
