He was born in Rourkela, situated in the Sundargarh district of Odisha, to parents Runa Rani Nayak and Ramesh Kumar Rout. He pursued his early education at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Sector 7, Rourkela, and later completed his higher secondary education at Chinmaya Vidyala Jr. College, Rourkela. Subsequently, he attained his degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from GIET University and Masters from KiiT University.
