Nikos Vlahopoulos was a distinguished stage and film actor who belonged to the foundational generation of Greek performers. He grew up alongside his brother, Aris Vlachopoulos, who also pursued a career in acting, establishing a familial presence within the Athenian theatrical circles. His stage career was defined by collaborations with the most influential theater companies of the early 20th century, including the Kyveli and Aliki Theodorides troupes. He later became a long-standing member of the National Theatre of Greece. While he made his cinematic debut in the silent era with To tragoudi tis flogeras (1930), he is often remembered for his performance as the father in the social drama O methystakas (1950).
