Diwanshu made his cinematic debut in Rajkumar Hirani's 2023 film Dunki-a landmark moment in his screen career. Sharing the frame with Shah Rukh Khan, he played a supporting role that brought him into the spotlight. The film, which explored themes of immigration and identity with Hirani's signature emotional depth and social commentary, gave Diwanshu the opportunity to work closely with a top-tier cast and crew, and showcase his ability to bring sincerity and nuance to a high-profile project. He trained as a repertory actor at the prestigious LTG Repertory in Mandi House, Delhi (2019-2020), following six years of work in the Delhi and Mumbai theatre circuit. His stage experience spans classical mythology, Parsi theatre, and period dramas, including three years with the Ratnakar Dramatic Art Society.
He is working on several upcoming projects, including an undisclosed film, the details of which are being kept confidential for the time being.
He has received formal vocal training and spent two years as a dubbing artist in Mumbai, lending his voice in Hindi, Punjabi, and English.
