Tony Crawley was born on March 26, 1938, in Farnham, England and has
been resident in Marly-le-Roi, France, since July 1980. Author of the
first biography of Steven Spielberg (in 1983) and of two books about
Brigitte Bardot.
Journalist since 1955 (starting at the Salisbury Journal and the
Bourneouth Times), he has supplied celebrity interviews and reportage
for UK, US, European newspapers and magazines: Paris Match, Variety,
Photoplay, Daily Mail, Sunday Telegraph, Today, Films Illustrated, Film
