Glen was born on in Toronto, and grew up in the suburb of Scarborough. His father was an elementary school principal, and his mother a primary grades and kindergarten teacher.
Glen studied chemistry, graduating from the University of Western Ontario in 1988. He received an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University in 1990.
A versatile actor, Glen has trained in Improv, in-person at Toronto's Second City Training Centre and The Assembly. He has also trained virtually with the Magnet Theater in New York City. Glen trains as an actor with LB Acting Studio in Toronto.
