Edward "Eddie" Mayes hails from Dallas, TX, where his journey into filmmaking began after a distinguished 11-year career in the United States Army, including deployment during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008. Transitioning to roles with the US Border Patrol and other critical missions, Eddie discovered his passion for storytelling.
Now pursuing his artistic aspirations, Eddie holds an AFA in Filmmaking from KD Conservatory and completed a 1- Year Producing program at The New York Film Academy. His career spans across diverse roles including Producer, Director, 1st AD, and Writer.
Eddie is drawn to narratives that are gritty, raw, and imbued with high-stakes drama, yet he also cherishes campy and lighthearted entertainment. With a quick wit and a deep love for horror movies, reality TV, and 90's pop culture, Eddie brings a distinctive creative flair to his projects.
