Alan Jonsson Gavica is a Mexican filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer born in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. He began his career in visual storytelling through still photography, which led to his directorial debut with the short film Knowing. His first feature, Morenita: The Scandal, received multiple awards on the international festival circuit.
He went on to write and direct The Load (La Carga), which was recognized at several global festivals. He later co-directed the short film Good Morning, Ignacio, and made his U.S. television debut with Torn From Her Arms, a Lifetime drama based on true events.
His body of work includes both independent films and international television productions, reflecting a strong focus on narrative storytelling across formats and genres.
