Jaquan Lee Solomon, whose name also means "the gift of God," spent his early years of education at Lawnside Public School in Lawnside, NJ, where his middle school music teacher discovered his singing voice. Jaquan was also a spoken word artist and performed praise dances with his mother, Priscilla Cheri Solomon, at First Refuge Baptist Church in Camden, NJ. His father, Jimmy Lee Solomon Jr., influenced him to act in the drama club in high school. He was also a stellar athlete in football and track and field and was recognized as one of the top athletes in South Jersey. Jaquan graduated from Woodbury Senior High School in Woodbury, NJ, in 2017.

Jaquan matriculated to Howard University in 2017 to pursue African American Studies. During this time, he was a member of the Howard Gospel Choir and served as the 2017-2018 Mr. Freshman of the Howard University Royal Court. He endured an ongoing battle with his mental health, ultimately resulting in an academic suspension from Howard University. Jaquan made a plan, reconnected with God and the arts, and built his collegiate education again from the ground up.

He moved to Los Angeles, CA, in 2020. Jaquan was 21 years old and ambitious, so he pursued his dream of becoming an actor. In 2022, Jaquan studied Theater Arts at Los Angeles City College and trained with the Los Angeles Theater Academy. He later transferred to California State University, Fullerton, to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Arts with a concentration in Acting. He is expected to graduate in 2026.

Jaquan has become a strong leading man in theater and film. His powerful, soulful voice has been heard in regional theater productions of RENT, Dreamgirls, Kinky Boots, and more. He has also originated a role in theater as Khent in a regional production of T-Room the Musical at the Endstation Theater Company in Lynchburg, VA. His first leading role transitioning from theater to film was Keith Smith in the short film 'Justified' by the Emmy-Award Winning Producer Dr. Louis Jones. He is known for his leading role as Deron in the short film 'Jamaal' by Award-Winning Director/Producer Philip Johnson and Taariq Muhammad.

Jaquan exudes the essence of a Renaissance man. He yearns to be in the esteemed group of future legendary actors. Jaquan promises to always seek God first in everything that he does and in all of who he wants to be.
