Peter started out making coffee and sandwiches for the crew on a Danish
talk-show. Short after he began working in the camera department on
television. After a couple of years he became a clapper/loader on film.
He then became an assistant cameraman and worked on numerous
commercials, music videos and feature films.
He shot some documentaries and short films as a photographer and then
switched to the director's department assisting some of Denmark's most
successful directors.
In 2004 Peter made his debut as a commercial director.
In 2010 took a break from commercials to focus on directing a series
for Danish TV called Rytteriet (The Cavalry). The TV-Series became the
most watched comedy series on Danish TV that year and won the
prestigious TV Festival Award for best comedy series in 2011.
In late 2012 Peter and the two creators of Rytteriet reunited to
develop the follow up to their successful first season. Not wanting to
repeat themselves they wrote 8 new episodes together, that took the
series away from the sketch-show genre and into a more continuous
narrative story. The show went on air in August 2013 on National Danish
Television.
In January 2014 Rytteriet won a Danish Academy Award (Robert) for best
short format TV-series.
