Hedieh Ataeian is a journalist and filmmaker. she graduated in philosophy from Shahid Beheshti University and started her professional career in 2011. She is also a graduate of FIFF's Talent Campus 2019 and makes non-budget and low-budget Independent short films and independent short documentaries.
her short animation (Empty Place) won the award for best short animation at the indie short fest (Los Angeles International Film Festival) In 2022.
