Aimee Janice is an actress from Bali, Indonesia. She has acted in national and international feature film productions and has focused her career professionally in both film and theatre.
In 2016, Aimee began professional acting training with Iswadi Pratama, focusing on Stanislavski-based realism. She has participated in multiple theatre and film productions, including a television series that premiered in 13 Southeast Asian countries, and stage works of William Shakespeare, Albert Camus, Arifin C. Noer, Samuel Beckett, Molière, and Eugène Ionesco, among others.
In 2021, she appeared as a cameo in the stage adaptation "Seperti Dendam Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas", a collaboration between Titimangsa Foundation and Palari Films, produced by Happy Salma, Marsha Timothy, and Yulia Evina Bhara. Her acting performances have also taken place in major venues in Jakarta, including Graha Bhakti Budaya, Teater Besar Jakarta, Teater Kecil, Gedung Kesenian Jakarta, and Theatre Salihara. She has trained in Bumi Purnati Indonesia, Komunitas Salihara, Teater Satu Lampung, and Titimangsa Foundation.
In 2022, Aimee was selected from approximately 1,000 applicants worldwide to represent Indonesia at the Suzuki Company of Toga (SCOT) program in Japan, training alongside 30 actors from 16 countries under instructors Ellen Lauren (Juilliard Drama School, New York) and Mattia Sebastian (La Contemporanea Theatre Company, Milan), under the guidance of Maestro Tadashi Suzuki. The same year, she joined Bumi Purnati Indonesia for multiple productions and had the opportunity to audition for director Robert Wilson (USA).
In 2023, she appeared in the colossal theatre production Laksamana Jalasena Malahayati, produced by Marcella Zalianty (Keana Film). In 2024, she toured three cities in Uzbekistan (Kattakurgan, Samarkand, Tashkent) for theatre performances, collaborating with international actors and directors.
In 2025, she was selected to represent Indonesia at the 18th Festival Mondial de Théâtre in Monaco, performing The Bald Soprano by Eugène Ionesco alongside 17 countries from five continents, in a festival established in 1957 under the patronage of the Monaco Royal Family and Prince Albert II.

Her passion for the arts began with painting classes under Balinese artists and classical music training. In 2006, she started to perform in classical music concerts and choir ensembles, including appearances on regional television (TVRI Bali) with senior musician Ayu Laksmi.
Aimee's stage career began in 2007 with her first audition, performing in three productions at the Bali School of Dramatic Arts (Bali SoDA), produced by Maria Gilbert (USA) and directed by Nancy Holliday (USA) and Rehane Abrahams (South Africa). In 2013, she earned a certification from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), United Kingdom.
After high school, she completed a one-year Fashion Design program in Bali before moving to Jakarta to study at the Conservatory of Music, majoring in Contemporary Music at Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH). She later transferred to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, earning her bachelor's degree in 2019 under Dr. (H.C.) James Riady.
