Scott Wells was born on September 19, 1976, in Santa Monica,
California. He attended Webster Elementary School and Santa Monica High
School and graduated from Agoura High School. He attended San Diego
State University and University of California, Santa Barbara, where he
received a degree in film studies.
In 2003, Scott founded Orinox Productions, a boutique commercial
production company specializing in high-concept regional advertising
and music videos. Scott produced and directed several short films,
including Serial, Chameleon and Soldier of the Sun. He was also a
producer of the full-length feature film Out West, starring Sean Austin
and Daniel Baldwin.
Scott was also a gifted pianist, guitarist and songwriter.
35 year old Scott William Wells died June 29, 2012 at the home of his
parents Lori and Larry Gray following a heroic two year battle with
colon cancer. Ten days before his death, Scott married the
love-of-his-life Limor Gottlieb in a private ceremony officiated by
Rabbi Judith HaLevy and Cantor Marcelo Gindlin of the Malibu Jewish
Community Center & Synagogue.
