Martin Baes completed the Valencia College Film program in 2021, where he gained valuable insights for his career in the industry. While there, he engaged in various projects with fellow students, including short films, music videos, and live events, discovering a particular interest in script supervising. After graduating, Martin worked on various gigs while also maintaining a full-time job. by late 2022 he started receiving more steady film work, and in July 2023, he quit his full-time job to work on his first feature film as a script supervisor, titled "Skimmer"
