Muyiwa Awosika is a Nigerian-British writer and director based in London. His first short film, Nine and a Day (2021), was screened at multiple UK festivals and won the Best Editing award at the Falcon International Film Festival. His second short film, Harmattan (2023), was produced with Fatherland, a company known for BAFTA-winning films, and premiered at the Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur in Switzerland. The film has since been showcased at renowned venues across the world, gaining strong support from the international art community.
