Matt Lenehan began his acting journey at 9 years old in Stagecoach Drama School in Dublin, Ireland. His early theatre experience includes performing in Evita (2010) and An Inspector Calls (2012), both at the Gaiety Theatre, as well as playing Peter Cratchit in Scrooge at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre during its 2010/11 run.
He later trained at the Gaiety School of Acting, graduating in 2020. Since then, he has been cast as Lee Reid in the hit Irish crime drama Kin (Season 2) and appeared in Disney's Disenchanted.
Most recently, in 2024, he took on the role of Finn in Ruby and the Well (Season 4), a Shaftesbury production that saw him filming out in Toronto, Canada.
