Isabel began college in 1994 at Santa Rosa J.C. where she explored
black & white photography with her father's SLR Canon camera. She
pursued media courses and received her AA Degree w/ Honors in 1996. In
the fall of 1997, she enrolled in San Francisco State University's
Cinema Program. She received her BA Degree in 1999 in Cinema - Film
Production with a concentration in Cinematography. Isabel spend her
first 2 years freelancing in the camera and lighting departments.
In June of 2001, she moved to Los Angeles and continued working
primarily as a camera assistant on non-union productions. She jointly
explored background acting and other interests until eventually taking
a hiatus from production work. In the fall of 2006, Isabel began
pursuing her interest in post-production. She attended UCLA Extension
to refresh her editing knowledge and Video Symphony to re-learned basic
AVID Media Composer. In mid 2008, Isabel landed a position in the
Finishing Department at New Wave Entertainment in Burbank, CA. She
assisted her department with the completion and delivery of FOX's
Domestic, International & Searchlight divisions' television, Internet &
radio spots, assisting the online editors and audio mixers on several
major feature campaigns.
In February 2009, Isabel returned to the San Francisco Bay Area. She is
looking forward to continuing her career in production and
post-production in film and television.
