Tyson Cross was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and attended school in Harare, London, and Washington DC. He trained in theatre at the University of Cape Town and later studied Electrical and Informational Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand. He is an actor known for Catching Feelings (2017) and also a VFX artist, working on movies like Dune: Part Two (2024), Pacific Rim (2013), Children of Men (2006), and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005).
