Akul Anandur is a writer, poet, and theatre practitioner. Mathematician by academia and a writer/ performer by passion. Many of his poems about Science, math, Society, and the absurdity of life have been published in several journals and publications. He is also an excellent playwright who dares to cover life's absurdity with a sense of humor.
Being a theatre actor since when he was 8 years old, Akul has also acted in many Kannada TV Series and Movies.
He has been associated with Rangaai Theatre Company from 2020 up to 2023. He started a new performing arts collective known as Violet Ensemble, operating from Pune, India.
