Linus Yu, born in Xiantao, Hubei province in 1993, is a young film director. Linus studied film directing at the Shanghai Theater Academy and got a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2019. His mentor was the famous cinematographer and director Hou Yong. Linus has made several short films under Mr. Hou's guidance; his main works are "Somnambulation," "Outside the Window" and "Baisui: A Peking Opera Artist."
