Hailing from the Washington, D.C. metro area, Dawn discovered her passion for music at a young age. Throughout the '80s and early '90s, she immersed herself in the D.C. and Baltimore live-music scene, experiencing hundreds of bands across genres including punk, go-go, hip-hop, metal, goth, new wave, orchestral, and rock & roll.
She later moved to Los Angeles, where she continued exploring the city's diverse music culture and performed as the bass player for the rock trio Casa Nova, appearing at venues such as the Viper Room and the Dragonfly. She went on to build a multifaceted entertainment career, working as a set dresser, music booker, celebrity personal assistant, TV network spot-sales coordinator, musician/composer, producer's assistant, and music-placement executive.
Today, Dawn draws on her broad creative skill set in her work, continuing to champion creativity, innovation, and leadership.
