Royce Hager has over 18-years experience in mechanical, special and
visual effects. Over the years Royce has specialized in motion control
rigging and operations. He was recognized for playing a key role for
the design and building of the 2002 Oscar Award winner for Technical
Achievement, Bulldog II.
Royce has worked with some of the industry's most impressive production
companies, such as One Such Films, Industrial Light and Magic, HKM,
Avalon Films, Sunspots, Rhythm and Hughes, Johns and Gorman, MJZ,
Giraldi/Suarez, HSI, Reactor Films, Worst Case Scenarios, Skins, Plum
Productions, Palomar Pictures, November Films, Smillie Films, Complete
Pandemonium, and The End, etc.
He has worked on hundreds of commercials, videos, television shows and
several feature films. Royce has had the opportunity to work for the
largest national advertisers on commercials for Dodge, United Airlines,
Honda, Chevy, Ericsson Phones, Mercedes Benz, Intel, MCI, Kraft Foods,
Volvo, Bud Light, Hyundai, Taco Bell and Coca-Cola. He has also worked
on several feature films: Star Trek 9, Mouse Hunt, Liar Liar, Stewart
Little, The Green Mile, National Lampoon's Van Wilder, to name a few of
the more recent films.
In 2003 he began to focus his talent and experience on designing and
engineering the industry's first mobile motion control vehicle
turntable. With several other motion control equipment in development,
his company Precision Turntables, has made it its mission to design and
build steady reliable programmable systems in order to support and
expand creative possibilities.
