C.M. Celis is an award-winning filmmaker whose work blends meticulous research with introspective, character-driven narratives anchored by sharp, articulate dialogue. A DePaul University Screenwriting graduate, he studied under Brad Riddell and Wendy Roderweiss. His 2021 short JUNK & Its Connection to What's Unknown earned multiple festival awards, followed by Make 'Em Laugh (2022). In 2026, Celis is set to release his first feature film, Provenance. As founder of DaVinci Street Productions, he draws inspiration from Paul Thomas Anderson, Sidney Lumet, Stanley Kubrick, and beyond, exploring themes of fulfillment, obsession, and regret in both narrative and commercial work.
