Annie Tanaka is an actor and singer-songwriter from Japan. Under the name annie the clumsy, and inspired by the New Zealand comedy duo Flight of the Conchords, she began writing and performing original music in 2011.
She produces and appears in her own web series, The annie the clumsy show, a quirky project that reflects her personal style. In addition, she writes and performs music for TV and web commercials in Japan, and has toured as a chorus support vocalist for indie artist Oh Shu, as well as collaborated with Evisbeats and Whale Talx.
She made her screen acting debut in the dark sci-fi comedy television series on Apple TV+.
