Tony Zhou is a New Zealand actor known for portraying coming-of-age, eccentric, boyish, and unhinged characters across drama and comedy. He has appeared in television series such as The Eggplant (2020), Shortland Street (1992), and Camp Be Better (2024), as well as the independent comedy feature The Red Admiral (2025). Tony has also led critically acclaimed short films, including Cherry (2022), Illuminati Castrati (2024), and Baked for Christmas (2024), which have screened at local and international festivals such as LA Shorts, NZ Web Fest, and the South Film and Arts Academy Festival (SFAAF).
Outside of film, Tony has expanded his range in theatre, performing as Tigger in the Winnie-the-Pooh stage production, and Mercedes the Drag Queen in the musical La Cage aux Folles.
