Samuel Rosson is an independent filmmaker, writer and director. He was born in Australia, New South Wales but grew up in Melbourne following a Cardiomyopathy diagnosis at 18 months.
His Father is a long time migrant from Chile, South America and a former local radio host.
His Mother, an Australian 'Farm Girl' and rhythmic gymnast was originally from Perth, Western Australia. Not soon after marriage they had their first child, Samuel's older brother.
The four stayed at 'Ronald Mcdonald House' whilst Samuel had been put on the Royal Children's Hospital's Heart Transplant list, following the diagnosis.
However, after a year or so and a new drug trial, Samuel made a complete recovery and they all relocated to the suburbs of Melbourne's west.
Samuel is now studying film at AIE (Academy of Interactive Entertainment)
