Konstantin Samsonov was born on November 22 in Russia in the city of Krasnodar. In the city of Krasnodar he graduated from school number 2 (years of study 2002-2013). Then he graduated from the Krasnodar State Institute of Culture. In 2016, the young Krasnodar film director Konstantin Samsonov received the Grand Prix of the Young Cinema Festival 2016 for the film "Industrial Echoes". As a cameraman he worked in the film "On the Wing" by the famous director Dmitry Semibratov. Then Konstantin Samsonov began work on the film "The Plant". The film premiered in 2019. Konstantin Samsonov's documentary film "The Plant" was nominated for three festivals: XX Independent Days International Filmfestival (Karlsruhe, Germany), 39th International VGIK Filmfestival (Moscow, Russia), National Youth Film Awards 2019 (Moscow, Russia).
