Shivansh Khanna is a Filmmaker from Mumbai, India, he is widely known for his debut Documentary: Kashmir ki Virasat / The Heritage of Kashmir that was the untold story of Kashmir's Heritage and was shot at Srinagar and other locales of Kashmir, India.
He has completed his Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) and is looking forward to further education in his interest fields.
Shivansh Khanna's second Documentary is underway, a cultural, political, historical and social narrative of Pakistan Occupied Areas of Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh.
His grandfather hailed from Kashmir, hence his love for Kashmir translated onto his quest for making his first two documentaries on Jammu & Kashmir. They are an ode to his parental lineage.
He has been an avid reader of world culture and political history and plans to make more documentaries on different cultural heritages of the world.
Shivansh is involved in a lot of social and educational projects, with the mission of bringing the right narrative forward. To name a few, Balgokulam is an initiative to provide cultural and value based knowledge to young students in schools at no extra fee. He liaisons with schools to make this program a part of the curriculum. In 2020 he co-founded an NGO: Swastham Foundation that deals with bringing International class Sports facilities to the downtrodden and rural areas of India.
Shivansh Khanna is a businessman by profession and a filmmaker by passion. Contrasting to his Film making life, he is a part of businesses that deal with Sports & Children's Play Infrastructure Development and Building Construction.
