Dogukan Hazar Iskenderoglu was born in Ankara in 1988, but originally he is from Trabzon. He spent his time in Trabzon with his grandfather and grandmother living in the village, listening to lots of fairy tales. These tales he listened to, from a young age, strengthened his desire to write his own stories. He wrote many poems and stories. And he was never a hardworking boy. But he was successful in literature. He drew the attention of literature teacher Nese, who prepared a theater play on a poem he studied at Trabzon Fatih High School. While he has been shy since childhood, he has not been able to speak much in public, thanks to his teachers in the theater team, he overcame this situation. And the role he played highly appreciated. In 2006, he won the Ankara University Communication Faculty Radio, Television and Cinema Department. During his student years, he worked as a photographer, cameraman and director. He has directed several award-winning short films and documentaries. After graduation, he prepared television programs, documentary series and commercials.
