A self-proclaimed old-school geek girl with a jones for movies, music
and slightly bizarre, she's rarely seen without camera in hand.
Alyska operates PointyKitty Studios, a multimedia design studio in
Madison on a full-time basis; has scouted, booked, and juried films for
festivals; processed and projected 16mm film for two universities; and
freelanced for vh1: behind the music.
Alyska received honors degrees in film production from the University
of Wisconsin, and a commercial photography degree. Her specialties
include product and food photography, jury slides and branding and
identity work for emerging artists, and has spent more than a decade
working for educational and cultural institutions and non-profits.
Alyska's uncanny ability to perform great creative work under the tight
pressure of a looming deadline without screaming is a marvel to all who
have worked with her.
