Deven is an Independent Filmmaker, Screenwriter and Poet, currently resident in London (UK). With a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and Psychology, and a masters Degree in Filmmaking (LFA, London), Deven is a seasoned audio-visual artist with a deep understanding of human emotion and both interpersonal and intrapersonal complexities. As a screenwriter, his film "London, Punjab" (London, 2022) which he developed from his own poem "Ghosts of London" (London, 2021), achieved an official screening at the Rendezvous Section of the Cannes International Film Festival (France) in the year 2023. His upcoming film "Anguish Man" is set to be his most ambitious and most personal film yet.
