As a teenager in the 1980's, while working as a bag boy at a respectable golf club in Hayden,Ontario Matt Dawson caught the eye of a local casting Director who marveled over his pale complexion, unusually large head and oddly misshapen eyes. He was immediately offered the opportunity to play a victim of lawn chemical poisoning in the golf-themed film "Make Par Not Pesticides." Although the film was panned by both critics and the pesticide industry, Dawson's zombie-like portrayal of an amateur golfer exposed to radioactive waste caught the attention of many filmmakers working in both horror movies and television marketing. In the last thirty years Dawson has gone to appear as an extra in more than 200 motion pictures, television shows and commercials frequently as a dead bodies, zombies and various pieces of lawn furniture. Dawson now lives in East Providence Rhode Island where he plays guitar in a band called Liquid Courage, owns a bar called Red Door and is a well respected elected official.
