Born in Texas, Doyle Bramhall grew up in a musical family. Musical
acclaim seemed destined for him at an early age given he was surrounded
by the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan among others. Doyle Sr., was a
drummer and an excellent songwriter from which Doyle II learned a great
deal. He learned how to play guitar on his own from watching musicians
and listening to records. He was in the Arc Angels from 1992-93 and has
released 3 solo records: Doyle Bramhall (1996), Jellycream (1999) &
Welcome (2001). He is currently off tour working on another album due
out sometime in 2003. He's also spending time with his wife Susanna and
his daughter India.
