Edmundo Eichelbaum was born on June 9, 1923 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was a writer, known for El ojo de la cerradura (1966), Martín Fierro (1968) and El mal de los rastrojos (1965). He was married to Berta Esion and Cisneros, Ester. He died on April 13, 2002 in Paris, France.
