Norman Dyhrenfurth was born on May 7, 1918 in Breslau, Silesia, Germany [now Wroclaw, Dolnoslaskie, Poland]. He was a producer and cinematographer, known for National Geographic Specials (1965), Abenteuer heute (1969) and Am Rande des Abgrunds (1982). He was married to Sally Sudler. He died on September 24, 2017 in Salzburg, Austria.
