Songwriter ("Holding Hands"), composer and publisher, educated in high
school and in private music study. He was a staff member and later an
executive of a Detriot, Michigan publishing company. Joining ASCAP in
1946, his other popular-song compositions include "When It's Night Time
in Nevada", "Faded Love Letters", "On the Highway to Galilee", "Golden
City", and "Tenderly Think of Me".
