Jean Doumanian, American television and film producer, was born in Chicago on July 28, 1936. She had two older siblings, James and Elaine.
Doumanian produced/executive produced eight films written and directed by Woody Allen: Bullets Over Broadway (1994), Don't Drink the Water (1994), Geliebte Aphrodite (1995), Alle sagen: I love you (1996), Harry außer sich (1997), Celebrity - Schön, reich, berühmt (1998), Sweet and Lowdown (1999), and Schmalspurganoven (2000). She also produced Wild Man Blues (1997), a documentary on Woody Allen and the Eddy New Orleans Jazz Band, as well as such other films as Die unsichtbare Falle (1997) and Im August in Osage County (2013).
