Songwriter, author and lyricist, educated in high school and in
business school. She joined ASCAP in 1956, and her chief musical
collaborator was Sol Lake. Her popular-song compositions include "Roly
Poly", "Blond Hair Blue Eyes and Ruby Lips", "Free and Easy", "Love Was
Born", "Falling Star", and "Crawfish".
